Sync Samsung Health to Google Fit

I bought my Samsung Smart Watch in 2020, and it still works, so I am not in a hurry to buy a newer version. That said, I need some assistance, please.

My health insurance offers discounts if I use Google Fit to upload my fitness attempts. How do I get my watch, that uses Samsung Health, to communicate with Google Fit? A thread from several years ago claimed the poster had their Google Fit communicating with their Samsung Health without issues but didn't say how they were able to make this work.

You can through Samsung Health Connect, but I thought Google Fit was dead

So it seems Google Fit was discontinued and Health Connect took over.

If you go into Samsung Health on your mobile, then Health Connect and allow the appropriate permissions, I dont use Google, but you can see Withings I give that some permissions as its my smart scale.
