I think Samsung, should add  no pulse detection to their watch software like google did. This would help save lives if peoples pulse stopped and would allow emergency services to locate them and try bring them back to life before it is to late.

This would be a massive help to those with health anxiety and people, it would also add a extra safety net to everyone who owns a Samsung watch and might bring more people into the Samsung ecosystem.

I agree and disagree. Theres no way the sensors are so good to be trusted to send automatic signals when a pulse isnt detected... equipment like that are specialised- hence even the heart rhythm detection has a warning saying about medical grade. But also, to my understanding- if your heart stopped and there was no pulse- youll 100% be dead by the time emergency services would reach you

I agree, the sensors might not be able to fully 100% get it right, but if people want the option it would be nice to offer that for an extra layer of protection & peace of mind.  They could add it like they have with fall detection you have 30 seconds with an alarm playing to dismiss the dection and calling emergency services .

Even if emergency services  didn't get to you in-time, at least your family would know and you would be found. What happens if you suddenly passed away and wasn't found a few days. It would be a very pleasant sight.

Its an interesting idea! Im sure theres probably a lot of legal stuff involved- being not available anywhere it would be a selling point....unsure how the logistics would work

Stuff like that has to be apporved, just like with the sleep apena feature on the watch ultra it has it, just not fully rolled out yet. I sadly don't have it yet because our Health Service hasn't approved it.

The feature would need a lot of testing and seeing how it would work before be allowed out by the heath service or respected governments of each country & of course Samsung themselves.

It is very possible chance it could happen, if it doesn't come to the current watches. They could add it in feature watches with better sensors for tracking.

Initially, I was a bit skeptical when I first read this, but it seems that Google does have this on their Pixel Watch 3. Looking further, the implementation seems well-thought-out and is available now in some countries, including the UK. While some comments are correct, it is unlikely that emergency services would be there in time, there are exceptions. So, good idea; I'd like to see it adopted, too. Please forward it to the Samsung team.
