Galaxy watch ultra - LTE issues

Hi all,

I purhcased a GWU yesterday with a esim plan for LTE connection.

When connected to bluetooth, it runs amazing but when I turn off bluetooth, I can send a text but its delayed in getting to the receiver - if they reply, I do get it but ages later - no notification and only if I check the messages app. 

I cannot make or receive calls - if i ty to make a call it says call ended straight away.

My provider has tested my network and can see the sim is connected, they've confirmed it is not a location issue as the network is excellent in my location and my mobile is full bars and works perfectly.

Does anyone know what I can try? my provider has sent it off for investigation.

Sad reality is with weird things like this you're at the mercy of the knowledge of advisor on the phone.
Was your issue exactly the same as mine?

It was a while ago but seems to be what I was experiencing but I don't think mine would send or receive without Bluetooth but it showed my esim on the watch

Just checked and there's numbers after EE on my current watch as per the post showing Vodaphone

That's probably my issue then because the adviser said they should be there

Can anyone with an lte plan tell me if you can send / receive a text message on the watch yet with your phone being off?

Received my watch today and when I tried to connect the watch I had the same issue again and rang EE and they sorted it straight away, on this watch there are no numbers etc after EE on the mobile plan so don't think that is anything to do with your issue

Glad you got it sorted mate, I returned mine and got a new one. Worked right away!

I think it depends on your network provider, I'm with EE and mine now works if my phones off.

Thanks. I've been with EE for years & when i tried an LTE plan a couple years back, it didn't work. So I'll give it a go again
