Galaxy Watch 5 One UI 5 update - no 3rd party complications/email notifications

Has anyone updated their Samsung Galaxy watch (4 or 5 series) to the new One UI 5 software update and discovered that third party complications no longer work on the watch? And that you can no longer receive email notifications on your watch?

If so, have you been able to resolve these issues?

Is it possible to uninstall One UI 5 from a Galaxy Watch 5?

I have and have had no issues but don't use third party watch faces or complications

I am unable to back up my watch 4 since the update. Thought I had an account issue and have since reset the watch but its the same, not backing up the way it was on version 4.5
