Galaxy Watch 3 recording activities in auto even though I set a manual recording

This is a puzzling issue and I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue and found a solution. 

It's the Galaxy watch 3 Pro Bluetooth paired with a Samsung s22 ultra

Have you tried turning on the auto activities recording. Then reboot/restart your watch. Let it finish rebooting, then turn the auto record activities off? I did it with my Watch 4 Classic and it did the trick.

Go and check if the auto recording activities is enabled or if it is disabled and you are facing this problem.

I have the auti recording activities enabled, just incase I forget to set the activity in manually
