Galaxy ear buds pro causing ear

I recently got the ear buds pro and shortly thereafter got an ear infection from using these. I've been using the creative outlier air the last 3 years without any issues and would commonly used the lm for 8 hours straight on many days. I also have no known allergies.

I stopped using the ear buds and the infection cleared up in about a week. I tried them one more time (after cleaning them of course) and I got another infection the next day.  I've only now seen this around and since I can't return these ear buds im looking for a recommended alternate eartip.

Any links for recommended tips for this kind of issue would be appreciated. Thanks.

You need to chill, Samsung will obviously want to have a look. I did the same, had a few polite emails between us and they offered me a refund.

Treat the housing, silicon tips and buds all around with a strong UV light a few times and then wipe everything with a clean cloth. This seems to solve it for me. It seems like they do not cure the acrylate properly on the finished products.

I have moved from my old original Buds+ to my Buds Pro and i've had a nightmare with ear infections.

It is 100% linked to the Buds Pro, 10 mins of usage and i can start to feel the irritation, i've had to visit Doctors, get special ear drops to clear it etc. I didn't link it to the Buds at first as i could wear my old ones for hours with no issue, but these new ones are simply terrible for causing infections.

What can be done?

The Support on the Samsung UK website just throws you round in circles.

I CAN CONFIRM THE EARS INFECTION PROVOCATED BY EAR BUDS PRO. I WENT TO THE DOCTOR 2 WEEKS AGO. I HAVE THE INFECTION AGAIN AFTER USING IT TODAY. I AM REPORTING THE ISSUE TO CONSUMER ASSOCIATIONS IN THE EU. THE SELLING OF THIS PRODUCT MUST BE FORBIDDEN AND AN INVESTIGATION WILL BE LAUNCHED SOON. SAMSUNG WILL PAY HEAVY SANCTIONS FOR THIS.
