After the latest Samsung update my Galaxy Buds FE are distorted when I turn on either noise cancelling or ambient sound enhancements. They sound as if the speaker is busted.

There are other threads out there, not just in this forum, describing the same thing. It isn't just me.

As an update, I went ahead and did it anyway. The problem is still there. The moment you switch to noise cancelling or ambient, the buds sound like the speaker is busted.
I'd be happy to roll back the update if you know how. Resetting did not do this.

Should be, I've had them less than a year, but I don't think that's the answer. Again, it was fine, loved them other than I prefer the older style, software updates and immediately the problem is there.
It's a software issue and a fix to resolve it should be put out. As long as I don't do noise cancelling or ambient, then there's not distortion no matter how loud I make them. I should also say, the distortion is there with those two modes no matter how soft I make the volume as well.
I should also say, I work in tech, have for years. I understand how the dev process works, and you're just not going to get anywhere unless people report it. So that's why I'm reporting it.

Yeah exactly. I have seen other threads out there, but they aren't popular and not for my exact model.

Same was happening to me yesterday while walking, a glitch that stops the audio, becomes a lot louder, goes back to normal and louder again.
I did a reset and it stopped, did the whole workout at the gym, then, when I went on a walk back home, it started doing it again (unless I turned off both ambient sound or NC).

Update from my side, the left one started a thing where it's incredibly low now but the right is just fine. I bought a new set of headphones and I'm going to send these into Samsung for a warranty and give them to my kid when I get them back. I hate that this is all because of an update and I can't get anyone to respond from the company.
