Hey all,

my left earbud basically stopped working. Can barely hear the chime and when you hit "find my earbuds" you can barely hear the chirping.

Anyone else dealt with this?

Hi have you tried to do a factory reset to see if that helps?

Hi @jdnvig Firstly you could  try cleaning to rule out any obstruction.  Otherwise  recharging for a short time may sort it.  other ideas are  performing a restart, resetting the Bluetooth connection and checking updates on the Wearable app  should sort most issues. See more here https://www.samsung.com//support/troubleshooting/TSG01111318/

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Just today I had the same problem. I looked around on reddit and other sites for tips to fix it. I eventually found that just sucking on the earpiece (rubber) (to relieve pressure in the bud i think?) actually worked! I have no idea how it works/why it works/if air pressure actually is the reason, but for me it worked (BEWARE NOT TO SUCK IN THE RUBBER AND CHOKE PLS). I actually think the bud was exerting more pressure into my ear canal when it was stuck at the low volume, but it's all very weird and the sensation could have been just me putting the bud in and out of my ear a lot. My buds were out of waranty period, so i was okay with trying it. I hope this helps some other people as well. This is my first time experiencing any problem with the buds+. I love these things. Well done Samsung!! (Btw, Samsung: If this "sucking fix" is actually a thing, you would be awesome to let people know this is how to fix it (and maybe explain how this pressurething works, if you know(?). Im really curious LOL)

When I owned the original Samsung Buds I found the issue was earwax in the grill.

Removing the earbud and sucking on the grill resolved this.

Gross I know but it worked.

Now I use Isoclene Alcohol on my Samsung Buds Live to clean the grills.
