Double tap to wake up

When my watch is set to aod mode and wake up gesture off You cant wake screen up by tapping is this normal or is it a setting issue

There isn't a setting to enable to the watch to wake up upone tapping the screen.

My watch turns on all the time!!  Workouts randomly start, is there a way for it to stay off until I press a button or tap it?  I am constantly stopping workouts I am not doing!!  Thank you

@Cad08: It sounds like you might have the device set up to automatically detect workouts. With this in mind, open S Health on your watch > Rotate the bezel clockwise and tap 'Settings' > Workout Detection > Disable this option if it is active. Hope this helps.
