Why my QN90B cannot do update to firmware 1504?

Hallo there

Why my QN90B cannot do update to firmware 1504 while this software present on Samsung website?

Is it because it is in Beta stage? I've read some other post this firmware breaks Local Dimming Zones 😞

Will Samsung destroy my TV? 😞

Yes - in settings - About - more info on AVS forum - 677 PAGES to read.

you can even learn if Samsung replace your motherboard you will loose colour calibration!!!

Basically if you unzip firmware from website you endup with 2 folders - those folders are equivalent of motherboard model and compare it with "About this TV" ane the one with extra L letter is newer model as I can remember

i have the same issue here i downloaded the new firmaware but the tv says firmware 1503.8  is installed and 1504 is nowhere to be find on the tv very weird 

i have contacted samsung but they really dont know what to do...

what do you mean? i have the 92b... and i run on 1503.8.. not 1504..

1503.8 is the firmware for TVs with older motherboard and 1504 for those with newer motherboard.

1448.1 broke my local dimming. Low, standard, and high work normal on SDR content but only low and standard works on HDR content. Now with 1503.8, low and standard still work normal but now High gets dimmer! SDR content still works fine though on 1503. How do I bring this up with Samsung?

Hello - my NEW SAMSUNG TV is BROKEN - now 5 weeks I have had Local Dimming problem (after firmware update) NO LOCAL DIMMING IN THE TV Samsung 75QN91B - the Poland Centre even didn't prepare the form of the issue, they promise to call but they don't, or after the time agreed, their reset didn't help (twice), each representatvie from the centre says something different (global problems (!?), bug, firmware, etc), the local service don't know what is going on, a guy arrived, looked at the tv and confirmed that there is a problem ! - for a while the local dimming returned (after he opened and closed the service menu), but after the tv was switched off from the mains - gone - this is in Poland - 5 weeks with a malfunctioning new tv (3 months old) - after two weeks I got information that the problem is registered, the same day the guy returned with a memory stick, didn't help - then after a few days they took the tv then after 5 days returned without repair - "maybe Korea will help with a new firmware update" - still nothing - returned - I got a document that the service problem is closed !
