Unkown bluetooth device

An unknown bluetooth device is connecting to my TV and completely blocking it. I can't use the remote so I can't remove this device. What can I do please?

Remove it from paired devices or turn off bluetooth would be my guess, if you can use your phone to navigate the menus

How do I use my phone to navigate the menus? My phone isn’t linked to the tv. I don’t think I can link it now as it’s blocked.

when you say blocked, what do you mean by it?

The remote control doesn’t work. The tv just stays on one channel. I can only switch it on and off.

unplug for 15 minutes, this will then factory reset it. Without sounding like a tw#t, have u tried changing ur remote batteries?

Hahaha don’t worry. I thought about that. It’s charged. And just in case, I recharged it. I’ve also tried the 15 minute unplugging. I’ve tried everything the internet has suggested. I’m at my wits’ end. I’ve even asked all my neighbours if the device connected to my tv is theirs. Nothing. Don’t know what else to do.

by any chance do you have access to a universal remote? Trying to determine wether it's the TV or the remote.

I don’t have access to a universal remote. I think it’s the tv though. Somebody on the internet suggested to plug the remote to a charger which somehow causes it to function, but only for five seconds. I tried it and it worked but I can’t find a way to decouple the alien Bluetooth device.

what model of tv do u have? And what do u mean connect your remote to a charger? Again don't mean to seem like a tw#t just curious.
