Recently I developed problems casting from my laptop (especially from youtube) onto my Samsung Smart TV before I would normally cast from google chrome but not anymore whenever I selected the option to cast tab from the google chrome menu and there was an error message of no devices found.I can still cast to TV from my Lenovo TAB 3 7 Essential tablet though.I reset the TV three times and the problem remains the same. The device name was changed only once. I am also experiencing problems with buffering from screen mirroring as well. Please advise me on what to do next.Thank you.

What's the model code and software version of your TV? Go to Home > Settings > Support > About This TV. If it's a slightly older TV it may be Menu > Support > Contact Samsung.

I'm having this issue. Could you please repost the solution? It isn't showing in the thread. I've read every comment, and there's no solution here. Clicking the link to take you to the solution does nothing.
Please repost the solution to this issue.

I reset my TV back to factory settings and it now shows up. I have it added as a device in Smartthings. It seemed to be "stuck" casting something that I couldn't stop casting. One I reset the TV, updated to latest software, I can cast again.

Getting fed up with this happening. Having to reset the tv and then have to enter the log in details ON EVERY SINGLE APP IS A JOKE. 9 Times cast to device has stopped working in just over 14 months. I have a ready solution to this, Get rid of the Tv and buy from another manufacturer. I have 6 Samsung devices in my flat, All have issues that come and go. I will not reset the tv AGAIN, just to get something that used to work, before another pointless software update on the tv to work like it should . I have more important things to do than spend over an hour logging back into all the services I use on the TV.
