Hi, I purchased my TV from Argos in September 2019 for £550. Obviously out of warranty but I'm still protected under the consumer rights act 2015. It's a manufacturing defect which won't be hard to prove as there are hundreds with the same problem. I can't believe Samsung didn't recall these televisions. But with most problems occurring after 24 months it's no wonder why.
Recently the TV has become unwatchable with white circles all over the screen. They are in 8 horizontal rows of about 16 across. So quite a few circles there.
I have done some research and Samsung are well aware there was a manufacturing issue with a lot of these televisions in 2017. Many people had help from a gentleman called Ant who assisted them with their issue. I assume he is a moderator on here.
Is there any way to contact him?
Thanks

This is outrageous. My TV is not even two years old and I have a screen full of small white circles clearly visible on white background. I will contact the authorized Samsung service on Monday and I'm so curious what they will say about it and if they can fix it.

Watch this, its little lenses for the LED backligting that have fallen out. May be able to DIY fix

That video in the previous post is just lights - these are actually circles on the screen - I'm having the same problem with a 2 year old Samsung TV
