TV will not download terms and conditions and privacy policy

It will not progress past this stage during smart TV setup.

 

No error code appears. I have left it for a couple of hours and there is no change.

 

TV model is LT32E390SX/XU

how does your TV get it's signal??? as that would be the 1st thing I'd check

do you mean the internet connection?

I have a wired connection. It does not work on WiFi either.

In settings the internet connection is showing as fine.

does the TV have a diagnostic program in its settings as it will show you if there is a problem with your wired connection

the network status says "you are connected to the internet"

when trying to update the software for the TV I get and error: unstable connection.

I have the same issue and mine says connected to the internet (wireless connection). I’ve tried switching on and off, updating the software but the screen is still at stage 3 where it’s trying to connect to the terms and conditions privacy policy.

have you been able to update the TV software. when I did this I got an error despite the messages saying it was connected to the Internet.

I suspect it is a network issue.

factory reset appears to have fixed it

All the software is up to date as I ran a chtck although the first two attempts said there were no updates to be made but when I tried again it said there was an update available that I actioned. Haven’t done a factory reset as was thinking of contacting support first
