universal remote up down stopped working in bttv box

Samsung tv with universal remote and bttv freeview box has worked great for a 2 years. Now the universal remote up,down buttons have stopped working in the bttv freeview guide. 

They work as normal in other apps, only issue is moving up down a single channel on bttv freeview guide.

I've Deleted freeview box and installed again under the universal remote menu but this made no difference

Hi, this is a very common issue on any remote, regardless of brand. The most i can say is open up the remote and give it a good clean.

Thanks for the reply, It is only with a bt freeview box that there is an issue.


The remote works fine with other all other apps so I'm doubtful that's the issue
