Hi,
I have a Samsung 32" K5500 TV and want to plug in an Amazon new generation Fire Stick. As my yv is wall mounted, I don't want to plug it into the mains. I understand that there's an option to power from a usb port. Can you tell me what the power output of the usb Portsoy my TV?
Thanks,
Gary

Hi @Gary216,
Do you have access to the back of your TV at the moment? The ports are labelled - so you'll be able to see the power output of each USB port here.
Hope this helps!

I would also like to power a fire stick through the USB port. I have a UN46C6300SFXZA. It appears I need a USB port with at least .7amps. Would the USB HDD port have 1amp and the plain USB ports have .5amp? The ports are not labeled as to power on this tv. We do have another newer Samsung that is labeled. I have scoured the manual and did not find this information.

I also have a 6300. Is there any answer on this?

Hey @rdb2
There should be no issues using the TVs USB port to power things like Amazon Fire Stick and Google Chrome Cast.
