TV Repair or New TV

Hello. I have QE65QN90AATXXU, 2021 model neo QLED. Unfortunately the screen is damaged inside after our toddler hit the screen with a toy. There is no physical/visible damage but visual doesn't come up, only cracks-strings pop up and disappear.

Samsung Chat seen a video of the problem, ruled out of warranty. A Samsung verified repair would cost around £700 and Samsung offers only 15% off for a new TV instead. I really don't think none of of the discount combinations could lower the price to choose over repair, but my worry is if I could get the same performance after the screen replacement.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Thanks.

Having this model of TV repaired would be a better cost proposition than buying a new one for the same specification.

Once the TV has been repaired, it will be with genuine components, and will function as it did when it left the factory. If you liked your TV before, you'll like it when they repair it.

Your probably looking at twice that for 2022 model or 3× for 2023

65QN90C is £1149 then 15% off isn't a bad deal.
