Samsung AU8000 bleeding from the top right corner then restarting, TV comes back on and repeats this process very 15 seconds. Out of warranty now as its been 2 years but surely a TV of this standard should last longer than this. Quoted £99 from the samsung partner to come out and pick up the TV and thats not even to fix it. Just feel like I've got no choice but to bin the thing and never use samsung products again. Is this a common fault with these TV's????
Thank you,

Mine did this a few days ago and now i cant even turn on. Have had the tv less than 3 years. Pretty disappointed. Samsung is no help and offered a 15% discount on another Samsung. I am unlikely to buy another Samsung.

Hi mate,
I wish I could, I cant get the TV on long enough to perform a factory reset, the furthest I got was to the pin insertion to perform it and then it bled out.
I am having someone collect this later for spares and repairs as Samsung haven't really offered any support to this issue at all, which is alarming seeing as the amount of people I see across the net having this same issue.
Thanks for the advice though, glad it worked for you mate.

Same for me. Very disappointed in what I thought was a good company, especially involving TV's.

Hi there, yes I have encountered the same fault with the same model. Not even owned for 3 years.
Samsung should do something about this as these were not low end TV’s by any means. Unfortunately this just puts me off buying any Samsung product.

Same model TV started doing this so I found some videos online showing how you can block some of the timing lines with a tape to get the TV to start working. After several attempts I managed to block about 2 or 3 of the lines on the ribbon cable connector to stop the TV from repeatedly rebooting and everything started working except on the left side of the screen some skin tones were very pale and there was a thin horizontal line in the lower part of the screen. After a few days I decided to try and move the tape to block only one or 2 lines in an attempt to improve the colour and line but it wasn't working so I decided to see if the TV will work without any tape at all and hey presto! It started working perfectly all of a sudden. After a months use the problem reappeared so I had to use the tape once again to block the same lines as before but once again after a few days when I removed the tape, it started working fine but this time it would only last for an hour or less before it would go back into the boot loop. If the Tv is turned off for a while, say 15 minutes or more then it starts working again for a limited period of time before the same problem starts. Very odd but at the end of the day these are low quality panels fitted to these TVs. I have also noticed that the issue seems to reoccur faster if the ambient temperature is above 21 C in the room so along with the cheap quality panel, the motherboard is just as poor. Perhaps dry joints on the CPU or other devices! Samsung sucks!

These are the lines that I blocked to stop the tv from rebooting.
