Hi all,

I recently bought a new Samsung TV to use with my X Box S series, however, when playing the game panel says that it is working at 60fps instead of 120fps.

The xBox is set up to work at 120 FPS with a resolution of 1080 p and the TV is suppose to support it, I went through the menu but I couldn't find any option to set the frame rate manually.

Does anyone has an idea on how to fix it?

Thanks

@AndyLuna: If you head into the Xbox Video settings, does it allow you to select 120hz from here. I have had a look at the specifications for the 43 inch AU9000, and this only offers a 60Hz refresh rate. I'm not 100% familiar with the Xbox Video/Picture settings, but I do know that you can run a test to see what your TV supports. This will tick all the supported features, and put an X next to the unsupported features. Is 120Hz ticked when you run this test?

The AU9007 supports the 120 FPS at 1080p, after changing a few settings I just found out that the issue is from the xBox software. With Halo infinite goes at 120fps, but I need to turn off the VRR and the auto HDR..... as usual Microsoft sucks......!

In my case I even had to uncheck the "allow 4k" box to FINALLY be able to play halo infinite with 120 fps. My TV kept switching back to 4k, even though I  set the xbox to 1440p and 120hz, when I started the game so the 120fps option in Halo's Video settings wasn't even available. I eventually noticed this after a lot of agony and headache -_-  xD
