Hi, my Samsung smart TV (UE49NU8000 49, purchased 11 months ago brand new) keeps disconnecting from my WiFi. I have spoke to Samsung and they have even gone to the measure of sending a third party company out to replace the part that connects to wireless networks. However, its still doing it.
The only way I can get it to reconnect is by turning the TV off and on again, it will not reconnect if I try and do it through the network settings, I have to turn the TV off and on again.
I have spoken to my Internet provider, and all is fine on their side, and no other wirless connection (phones, Xbox etc) ever disconnect.
I have done multiple factory resets, most of which were done whilst on the phone with Samsung, and all updates are done too.
I am at a total loss, can anyone help?
Thanks.

I have spent a few minutes reading the thread and here is my solution... Connecting my tv to my wifi extender via rj45. Solved 😊

I had the same problem. Tried everything and in the end the cheapest and easiest solution Is just to get a firestick or another third party streaming device.

Same issue 2021, I am a network tech, I have a N4 connection at home, 3 routers Cradlepoint AER2200; Sierra Wireless MG90; Pepwave HD2, all have a separate hardline, with cell sims for backup, and the Samsung tv failed every time, fixed it by introducing the Alexa Cube, now I use the WiFi through the Cube, I am able to stream from my NAS, Netflix, Apple TV without disconnections

I have a TU7020 and experienced the same intermittent disconnection/no WiFi problems that others have described. However, I've found a solution that's worked for me. In spite of my TV apparently supporting Wifi4, it appears that it only supports (or is at least more stable) with 2.4GHz.
I have a router that allows me to broadcast the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands as separate networks (you can find this in your router settings). Connecting the TV to the 2.4GHz band seems to have permanently resolved the issue for me. It's not ideal because I'd have preferred to have a single SSID for both frequencies but for some reason the Samsung TV doesn't seem to handle this very well. All other devices were happy so I can only presume that the TV is at fault here.

Swtich off TV from mains and remove the plug for at least 30 sec. Then reset the wifi, then turn on the TV, go to setting>general>network>reset network and reset it. then connect to wifi again. problem is solved, I had the same problem (very irritating) but fixed by doing this. hope this helps.

Buy a different brand. I've had various Samsung TV's for many many years they've lasted a long time. this latest one is good quality and great picture. I just don't understand why you have to sign in to an account just to watch your Samsung TV. The WiFi issue should have been taken care of years ago instead of having the customers figure out solutions. I've recently purchased other cheaper brands of TV's for bedrooms and my trailer they connect to WiFi and stay connected with no problems. The best solution for my Samsung was to hardwire it or use a WiFi extender with a network out cable to the TV.

I love the picture quality of this TV. I won’t buy another Samsung again for sure. Thanks for the tip and responding to my query. I’ll start researching that.

I bought the TV in OCt 2021. Why are we still talking about the same issue since 2019? Why hasn't Samsung determined a fix for a major defect for a SmartTV. How can you simply ignore the 218 posts on the same topic!!!! Reseting to factory defaults is not a solution
