Hi,
I recently bought a Samsung Smart TV UE32T5300. I knew it wasn’t Bluetooth compatible so I bought a Bluetooth TV Audio Transmitter to play sound through headphones (really want to be able to watch TV in the evening when our toddler is fast asleep in the room next door!) I’ve successfully connected the transmitter to my Bluetooth headphones but sound is still playing through the TV speaker, not my headphones! I have literally spent so long trying to work out what the problem is but I’m stuck. Can anyone help please? Thank you 😊

Thank you. Do you know how I can mute the tv speaker? I’ve tried doing this in the sound settings but there doesn’t appear to be an option to turn the speaker off.

Thank you so much for trying to help. This is the link for the transmitter:

On the TV, the only audio options available seems to be tv speaker and optimal.

OK, I've looked at the TV Manual and it appears that the One For All needs to connect to phono plugs which the TV doesn't have as Samsung removed these from all TVs. The transmitter is powered via HDMI but also needs to be connected to audio. I believe the way to do this is to purchase an Optical to RCA cable adapter to allow this connection to the One For All. Fortunately, these adapters are inexpensive:)

This is amazing, thank you so much for taking the time to look into this for me, I really appreciate it. Have ordered the adapter and it’s due to arrive tomorrow so fingers crossed! I can’t believe this stuff doesn’t just work automatically with the technology of a smart TV but thank you! 😊

Dear All,
I have a similar issue with Avantree headset and BT-transmitter. I've tested SPDIF (optical) and RCA output but no sound comes out. The connection with the headset and BT-transmitter works.
