Q90T scrolling lines Xbox Series X/VRR

Hi all,

It is known that people have problems with the Series X as soon as the VRR mode is started.

The VRR mode leads to scrolling lines that constantly move upwards and which only become visible when playing in dark gray areas. As soon as you turn VRR off, the problems disappear.

Also, only Gaming Mode is affected which leads me to the conclusion that the problem lies within the TV and not the Xbox.

I would be interested to know if there are any owners here who do not have this problem. Are maybe only a couple of TVs affected?

The problem is extremely visible in Star Wars Fall Order, for example.

I have noticed the exact same issue with VRR, it's broken (and seems to be broken on other TVs too). I just turned it off for now and tbh not seen any screen tearing / frame drops yet that warrants it being on. Hopefully be patched soon 🤞🏻

Yep same for me as well on grey screens there is some horrible mucky looking horizontal patches that go across the screen. If I disable vrr they go away

Yeah new owner of the 90T.

Issue appears on latest firmware. Goes off as soon as you disable VRR.

annoying as it was on of the features it would be useful for!

will keep it off and just stick with game mode with motion settings off.

see if I miss it or not.
