There's something about Freeview and Freeview Play that excellent. That's the EPG. I now find that my new Samsung doesn't support the Freeview Play app on its TVs. This means that the benefits of its EPG being able to search available shows or catch-up can launch the underlying App ((like iPlayer, Channel4 etc). With the Samsung interface you have to go looking in to each App on TV to see what's on for Channel4 then go out and in to iPlayer etc to see what it offers. Haven't Samsung made things a lot harder by not having an EPG app onboard of via it's App Store?
