I have a new Samsung TV (software version T-X22UDCDEUC-1310.3,E1301500,BT-S) and I scanned in the Astra 28.2 channels. However a number were missing and I discovered that this was due to some of the transponders being incorrect in the list. Three of these are 10773H, 10788H and 10818V - they show with a symbol rate of 22000 but it should be 23000. I can't edit those to change it.
A way around this should be to create a new transponder link but the Symbol Rate menu there only gives dropdown options, none of which is 23000. So I can't do that. I contacted Samsung who said that it was out of their control and that I should contact Astra! Surely Samsung should be the ones who are sorting this as there must be a lot of customers affected.

The problem is sorted as the firmware has been updated and the transponders with the new symbol rate of 23000 are now included. The Symbol Rate menu for creating new transponders still doesn't have 23000 as an option but that matters less now that the existing transponders have the correct symbol values.

Hello, is there anyone out there. Is anyone from Samsung even reading this? The problem is still there. I have made multiple enquiries and there's no obvious resolution without a firmware update. It is extremely misleading that this model (CU8070) is being sold with an inadequate satellite receiver that can't tune in all channels and with no means of rectifying this. This is absolutely pathetic service from Samsung.

I am having the same problem with a different Samsung tv model (Q7 series), can anyone help?

Yes, I've checked mine and that transponder has not been amended. Another update needed from Samsung!

This is not possible on the model I have as the drop-down list for the symbol rate does not have 23000 as an option.
Also, the entry mode for the frequency is ridiculously badly designed. In order to get to a particular frequency from the list, you have to scroll through each frequency in increments or decrements of 1MHz, which takes forever. In a properly designed system it should be possible to directly enter the frequency and the symbol rate.
