Is anyone else having issues with their Smart hub on their TV's?

My smart hub has been updating and deleting my apps such as Amazon and Plex, when I re install them the Smart Hub updates and deletes these again. I have had the same issue on 3 of my Samsung Smart TV's

This happened yesterday yet they were all working fine the day before.

I have contacted Samsung and went through all the usal checks and TV resets with no success.

Hi  I have followed the Samsung/ Youtube video Walkthrough how to Delete Unwanted Apps, from my 2023 Samsung QN85C 55"  QLED TV, and nothing seems to happen, there is no Delete option on the Apps that I will not be using, "I do however wish to keep Netflix and Plex", as I use them on my Old LG TV, and find them very Useful, can somebody please get back to me with a Line by Line Walkthrough, I'm starting to think I have chosen the Wrong TV with Samsung, thank you in advance for any Replies, that come back to me...

Hi ChrisM,

I have tried several resets of Smart Hub, do you mean Power Off of TV, then switch on again?, or is there something in settings, will I lose my Samsung ID if I do the latter ?

Hi @huey45 ,

The exact way to do a Smart Hub reset varies depending on the model. Our friends over at Samsung Australia have a pretty good guide on the 'how-to' and description of what gets wiped when you do a Smart Hub reset: https://www.samsung.com/au/support/tv-audio-video/reset-smart-hub-samsung-tv/

Still cannot get rid of Samsung Smart Hub App, and the stuff I will not use, or want, if Samsung cannot or wont help me, then I'm on the lookup for another brand, will cut my losses, and sell my Samsung QLED

Hi AntS

Love what the TV can Show, and its Specs, Tizen OS is worse than Aweful, Tech Support is next to Useless, we dont need upgrades on Firmware, we need Downgrades, to make it Workable, my First Choice TV was a Phillips 55" with Android OS, oh how I wish now I had Bought it....

The Best Smart Hub Reset, I could suggest, would be with a 2lb hammer, I should have bought the Philips 55", Android OS, not Tizen Rubbish OS... its first and last Samsung for me, maybe programmers can come up with some downgrades, my Homescreen is like a Monopoly Board Game !!
