Hello.
My Samsung TV sometimes doesn't turn on. The red light disappears and there is no signal. Unplugging, replugging or holding remote for 10-15 second doesn't work either.
It usually becomes ok a day or so later. The red light comes back on and it can be turned on with the remote.
This happens every few days or once a week.
Any help regarding this?
It is a 2020 model -

@Ak1411 check you have the latest firmware on Samsung support? Are your connections secure, could try disconnecting/reconnecting the the cables, when there is no red light can you try another socket to see if that makes any difference. If by any chance you are using a surge protector sometimes there can be an issue there. See some information here https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/tv-audio-video/my-tv-wont-turn-on/
Whilst the issue is periodic I suspect though there may be an issue with my power Board and if troubleshooting makes no difference would require further investigation.

Hello James. Thank you a detailed and helpful response.
I updated the firmware a couple of weeks ago and it's currently the latest one.
I have used a different power cable (ps4 cable) as well to check if its the cord/fuse/plug issue but made no difference.
I do not believe I have a surge protector. Is this the fuse embedded plug or a an adapter that you mean? I don't have that. The plug is connected direcy to socket.
Thanks

I had the same thing a few times on my 2014 TV. Luckily I had a repair contract each time. The motherboard had to be replaced every time.

Hi Catflap,
Thank you for sharing. This is very helpful. If this would be a recurring issue after getting an initial repair, then might not be worth investing in it considering how you had to repair multiple times.
Appreciate the heads up.
