Samsung UHD 4k half screen in black

Hello , I am from Roumania and I a have a problem with my tv , since yestarday my tv went crazy, I still have 1 year waranty but I hope I can do something by myself to fix it. I uploaded a picture so you can see my tv's problem.20191026_193727.jpg

I am having a similar problem as you but luckily nowhere near as bad as your issue, but my vertical black/shaded band is center-right and a small band that is center-left on my screen. I bought my Samsung TV - Samsung - 55" Class - LED - NU7100 Series on 4/20/2018  and I can't believe I'm having problems already! I only bought a 2 year extended warranty so I guess shame on me for having faith that Samsung would be reliable and that I wouldn't need the warranty extended past that 2 years. I DEFINITELY will never buy a Samsung TV again and will be going with Sony from here on out.

I was lucky that my TV was 22 months old when it failed. It seems that Samsung will repair TVs that are less than 2 years old, which in fairness is double a standard warranty in the UK, so I guess you just fell unlucky, sorry pal.

No Samsung didn't replace my faulty TV or screenb and they lost yet another customer with this problem. I tried looking into replacing the LEDs myself but it seemed like too much of a hassle so I threw the TV out and went out and bought a Sony TV. Good luck to you!

I did the exact same thing — right down to buying a Sony, which is amazing — with one exception: I tried to fix it myself; it was a pain and ended badly. You made the right call by just throwing this piece of junk away and moving on.
