Hi I’ve just bought this new Samsung TV and am confused about whether it will record a program to a usb device like a hard drive. There is nothing in the manual about recording at all. Can anyone help me please, I’ve run out of ideas.

IF by chance this TV  does record can anyone give me the steps of how to do it.

If supported in the channel guide select a program and long press select button. You should then see recording options if your TV supports it.

No this TV does not support recording. The only thing that happens when I press the select button is a box appears with ‘view details’. I’m really disappointed, I thought you could record with most smart TVs.

This device can record but only available in some areas. Don't ask why as I don't understand the logic.

that isn’t logical at all. I’ve a good mind to send it back and buy a different brand all together. The support I’ve received has been woeful also.
