Hello, I am looking for a new television, size 43 inches.
Can you advise whether any of the Samsung televisions have access to the “BBC red button digital text” service when pressing either the red button or a dedicated “txt” button on the remote control? That is the text service that mostly appears on the right hand side of the screen providing brief text pages of news, sport, entertainment, etc. and was the service the BBC wanted to stop around 2020 but continues to this day.
Also, I currently use a 32gb USB stick/flash drive on my current 2014 Samsung television to record programmes so I can;
Can you advise whether I would be able to do this on any of Samsungs new 43 inch televisions?
Many thanks for your help and advice.

Thanks for the reply.
My current television is not connected to the Wi-Fi as I usually stream content via an old Nowtv box. So when I press either the red button or the “txt” button on the remote I can view the “BBC Red Button Text”. Even though this is still available on my 2014 Samsung tv and is still currently provided by the BBC are you suggesting that the software required is no longer installed in new televisions by Samsung?
Also my current Samsung tv only has one tuner and I can record the viewed programme as I have detailed in my opening post, without being able to watch another channel as it only has one tuner. So, even with one tuner, I was wondering whether the new Samsung tvs work in the same way?
Thanks again for any replies.
