Hi. Just purchased a new S95C and when watching HDR content there is no indication on the TV that it’s HDR. Is this normal or am I missing a setting ? My other TVs have always shown HDR or HLG in the corner
Thanks.

Hi @63johnw Does HDR not show up when you go into Picture Settings? Brightness and contrast should be at the Maximum level. just checking if you have input Signal Plus switched on for the HDMI connections, Go to General-External Device Manager-Input Signal Plus.
some advice on HDR in this article https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/samsung/s95c-oled

Thanks @JAMES4578 for your reply. The picture is HDR I believe. Going into settings when watching an HDR movie on my Sky Q box in movie mode on TV, the contrast and brightness are at max as you say. Turning signal plus off changes the picture much darker. It’s just there is no onscreen indication of HDR as I have had with all my previous TV’s when watching HDR. It may be the case that there is no onscreen indicator but was just looking for confirmation. Have looked at all the settings I can see.
edit. I think I have found what you mean @JAMES4578 in the settings bar along the bottom of the screen when I can see the various settings such as multi view etc the picture mode setting there shows if HDR is being viewed on all modes apart from filmmaker. That must be the only indication, I have watched a few videos online and on none of them have I seen an onscreen indication pop up.
Thanks again for your help.
