I have 2 identical S90C TV's since last year and when I used to pause the show I was watching, the screensaver used to come on after 2 mins.
Since the last update 1420, this longer happens and no screensaver comes on either TV. For an OLED TV, this isn't good. Is Samsung aware of this and is anyone else seeing this on their TV's?

@ZedTheRed: Please try heading to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving, and ensure that 'Screen Saver' is switched on.
If it is, try powering off the TV > Unplug it at the wall for 30 seconds > Plug it back in and power back on using the remote, as this will resolve any temporary software issues that might be a contributing factor.

Thanks but that option is not there on both TV's.

After investigating further it looks like the screensaver come on when using any inbuilt app, Netflix, Prime etc, but does not come on when using Sky which uses HDMI.

I let the tv firmware auto update and now I have 1430. Same issues, no screensaver option, screensaver no longer comes on when using hdmi inputs. How do we reinstall older firmware?

I bought S90C just two months ago - and there is no screen saver option I can find, and definitely not under the Power and Energy Saving menu. Just doesn’t exist. Tech rep at Samsung said to reboot the TV, but that did nothing,

Rebooting TV did not solve the problem. So is there a way of getting screensaver to work in S90C TV? Do I need to exercise warranty repair for it to work?
