Remove Universal Guide

Hi,

So I got rid of TV Plus annoying me with video suggestions some time ago.

All good.

Now Universal Guide is bugging me with rental suggestions and other such garbage.

How to turn this off?

OK, I just found out if I lock the POS it does not show.

What is POS? sorry to ask.  I am too annoyed with this TVPLus on my Q9FN

POS is an abbreviation for Pile Of Rubbish/Garbage/$%*&#
I meant if I locked the Universal Guide, so it requires a PIN to open, no video adverts get displayed on my screen.
TVPlus is something else. Only way I know to disable that is in the service menu.

On my TV:

1. Open Apps.

2. Open Apps Settings (top right corner).

3. Find the Universal Guide app.

4. Select Lock/Unlock.

5. Enter a PIN to lock the app.

Very disappointing that Samsung force feeds this kind of stuff with no ability to disable.

All this does is lock the app.  Does not remove the app.
