QE55QN85AATXYU picture problem

Have the above model [a replacement direct from Samsung for a previous TV which was unrepairable]. This TV has the following fault, when switched on the picture is washed out and dull. Going into expert settings the brightness control has no effect on the picture whatsoever. To overcome this, if the TV is switched off for 5 seconds and switched back on the picture is fine and brightness control works as it should.  I contacted Samsung who remotely took over control.. this has not fixed the problem

Could you check the software version of the TV please? Is it running version 2111.1? Go to Home > Settings > Support > About This TV.
