I have a Samsung QE50Q60TAUXXU TV that has 4 slim black lines running horizontally, originally there were only 2.
I have contacted Samsung and have gone through all of the trouble shooting options but the issue is still there.
I wasn't happy as I purchased this TV due to it having an extended screen warranty. When I contacted Samsung, I was told this was only for screen burn.
Has anyone had this issue repaired? The repair company that Samsung have suggested does not have the best reviews in my local area.

just checking if the Horizontal lines permanent  and is it occurring on all sources? Were you advised to   disconnect external  devices and reconnect to see if that makes a difference, as well as a  Factory Reset.

However if there is an error in the picture Test ,Support- Device Care-Self Diagnosis -Picture  Test,it really does need an inspection and likely a Repair  if worthwhile.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

The lines are permanent, and I have completed all of the other steps you have mentioned.
The lines are also still visible on the picture test

Hi just wondering what your outcome was with Samsung?  A black line has appeared on my Samsung TV now.  My in-laws had the exact same TV but theirs broke after a year of having it and it was out of warranty

I'm going to take it to a repair shop when I have time.

Any update from repair shop? I have the exact same tv 3 years old now. Started with 2 lines bow has over 20 black horizontal lines. Started to not come on with turning tv off for 30mins. Then now starts to turn off after 2 hours on and won't come on until at least 1 hour off. Seems like TV is just on its last day. Is repair worth it. Disappointing

I would also be curious on the outcome of the repair shop. My TV is showing a black horizontal line too tonight.

This product is not fit for purpose.  I've had 1 line for around 6 months.  I did report it to Samsung but I'm out of warranty and getting it repaired wasn't worth it, cheaper buying a new tv.  I found it odd that my inlaws had the exact same TV but there's broke withing the 2 year mark.  They where 1 months out of warranty and again the cost of repair wasn't worth it.

I have the QE50Q60TAUXXU too (this TV is clearly not fit for purpose), bought in Jan 2021, noticed these lines in early September 2021. I contacted Samsung and they sent someone out in Oct 2021 as it was within the 12 month warranty. The engineer came to my house and replaced the screen only,  the housing and internal hardware were left as is. This did fix the problem....for a while, At the start of 2024 I started to notice 1 line in the middle of the TV and it started spreading week by week. I contacted Samsung but now that I am out of warranty they do not want to know, I think it's a disgrace that we, the loyal customers are disadvantaged by the poor quality of their products these days. I have only ever bought Samsung in the past, I have a perfectly working old 2007 Samsung TV but no more, I am done with them. Shame on them.

So my exact same TV has the same issue 2 and some times 4 horizontal lines from the right hand side to the middle. Following a battle with Samsung and being told I don't have the 5 year warranty that came with the TV, I contacted Currys and they found the warranty and arranged collection and repair. I'm waiting on return of the TV now. If you bought with Currys then contact them.
