We’ve recently moved house and our 2013 Samsung TV no longer wants to play All4 and is being unreliable with iPlayer and (just today!) Netflix. We have a really good internet connection and a digital aerial that has a booster and plays terrestrial to stations well.
the TV insists there are no updates to be had. Have we just worn it out??

Hi, @Sue0404. Further to what @StuartR recommended, please can you give us some more information about what is happening when you try to load these apps on your Samsung TV?
For instance, are you noticing any error messages at all?
@MrFinland, you might not be aware of this, so I felt it was important to update you. The ITV Hub player is about to be replaced and fully upgraded by a new service called ITVX.
This means it will no longer be compatible with some older devices - including all of our Smart TVs which were made before 2015. This was due to an update made by ITV, and will also apply to various other non-Samsung devices.

Hi Paul - no error messages. With All4 it starts to play and then quickly goes opaque, says ‘something’s gone wrong’ then may come back before going fuzzy again. IPlayer - just buffers for ages.

@Sue0404: Please can you confirm the model number of the TV, located on the sticker on the back of the device, or in Settings > Support > About This TV? In the meantime, please try powering off the TV and unplug it at the wall. Now, unplug your home router, leave it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and allow time for it re-calibrate itself. Once this step is complete, plug the TV back in and power it back on using the remote. This will help to determine if the problem is potentially network related.
