I've got a 65" S90C and have been watching UHD on the NowTV App on the TV. Just been away for a week and now it's not giving me the option to watch UHD.
I've got a Roku 4k Stick and that is giving me the option of watching UHD, so it's not my NowTV subscription.
I've deleted the NowTV app and reinstalled it, still no UHD.
It was working a week ago....
Any ideas...

Good to see it’s working now for folks! Just adding the ‘official’ bit from the Samsung-side to confirm:
“Thank you for your patience. Following our collaborative work with NOW TV the issue is completely resolved and access to UHD content is restored. There is no action required other than to launch the NOW TV app and enjoy the content on your Samsung TV.”
In the event of it not just happening upon launch of the app as it should for anyone, then I’d advise trying the advice suggested by gilbert90 and Face on the Bass above.

Hoping someone can help resolve an issue I’m having with the Now TV app and ultra boost on my 2018 Samsung UE43NU7020. I’ve spoken with the Now chat support and they’ve said my tv should be compatible for the UHD channels, but I’m only seeing HD content at the moment. I’ve tried updating the TV software (it tells me I’m on the most up to date OS) and also deleted and re-downloaded the app (apparently the latest version of Now I can download is a 2023 version?!). Has anyone encountered this issue? Or have any ideas on a resolution? Thanks

The current version of the app is 9.10.4, shown at the bottom left of the account setting in the gear option of the menu at the top of the screen. If yours is older I guess you need to check with Now why.
Has this worked previously or the first time trying?

Thanks for getting back to me. The app version I have is the 9.10.4 version you’ve referenced. I only realised that Now had released the ultra boost this week, so hadn’t checked beforehand. I’ve spoken with both Samsung and Now and they are none the wiser, so my only thought is maybe my TV actually isn’t compatible even though Now TV chat has told me several times it is.

Have you checked you account to ensure that Ultra Boost is activated?
This page suggests the TV should be supported. Do you have any other supported devices to test?

I have the same issue on my Q900
(QE75Q900TSTXXU)
I’ve tried everything and still can’t get the uhd content on NOW TV. My other Samsung TV shows it fine. Any ideas?

@AlexM8: Please try reinstalling the NOW TV app to see if this pushes the update through for you. To do so, head to Home > Apps > Settings (cog symbol in the top right) > Navigate to NOW TV, and press the middle button on the remote > Reinstall.
I also recommend powering off the TV, unplug it at the wall for 30 seconds, then plug it back in and power back on to see if this helps.

Many thanks, I’ve those steps but unfortunately it hasn’t resolved it for me. Is there anything else I can try.
