I have a new 32 in T4300 Smart TV which I have set up via a hard wired internet connection. I was told I should be able to access terrestrial channels, if nothing else through the Freeview app but I can't. I'm reading through all these comments and it seems the best way is to plug it in to an aerial but I don't have that option
Is there anyway of getting terrestrial channels WITHOUT and aerial?
Thank you,

Hey @Beeb75 ,
you won't be able to access Freeview (or any other terrestrial broadcasts) without having an aerial connection plug on the TV, I'm afraid. If your building doesn't have an aerial connection, you can consider buying an inexpensive portable indoor aerial to unlock Freeview channels.

Hi @Beeb75 Indeed as @TessM explains you do need an Aerial for Freeview. You can watch live Tv on some services such as iplayer via the Internet. Some information here https://www.freeview.co.uk/help/do-i-need-aerial Freeview Play is not currently available on Samsung Tvs https://www.which.co.uk/reviews/televisions/article/tv-screen-technology-explained/what-is-freeview-...
