hello, i was a samsung enthusiast and decided last week to by a new TV and benefit from the new tech they offer...
I got an Samsung QE43Q60TA 43" QLED 4K
i was very happy with the display and the UI ... but...
i cant see my video files !!!
whenever i plug an usb (directly to the tv) or an external HDD with video - movie files, i get a pop up that says "UNSUPPORTED FEATURE,the selected file is not currently supported"
The usb and HDD contain the same video files i was watching for years...
i spent all day trying to figure out whats wrong but no luck....
i read somewhere that i need to buy a media player and connect it through HDMI to my new SMART and POWERFUL TV...
LOL... is this correct? or do i have to convert 3T of video files to some other format?
please advice,
thanks

I found out that Samsung has issues regarding codec rights or something like that, and I returned the tv back to the store for an LG...
problem solved!😘
p.s Diego don’t waste your time here, no one will answer you that question.... Samsung is not working with avi codecs, so in order to see your fav videos you need to buy a media player(😂) or encode all of your gigs to another format...not avi(😂😂😂)
