My tv doesn't turn on with now tv box

My old tv used to turn  on if I pointed now tv remote at it ,now my new tv UE50AU7100  if I point now tv remote at it it doesn't turn on ?any ideas please .

Have you tried setting ur new TV with ur now tv, if so maybe ur tv not compatible for now tv with ur new one.
