I want automute on startup

Hi all, first time poster here.

I have a Samsung QN85A, and it's a great TV for the most part. My only complaint is that it's sluggish on startup as it does all its toilet time, gargling, hair brushing, and morning stretches (yes, I've done all the reset things, and it doesn't matter).

Sometimes we watch movies with the sound cranked up and then head off to bed when they finish. I am an early bird, and sometime between 5 and 6 a.m. I'll turn the TV on. And it goes straight to Samsung TV Plus with the volume where we left it. And the volume control doesn't respond until the TV finishes its morning stretches, which can take a good 15 seconds. I can go for mute (which will kick in immediately after the last stretch)—but volume down must happen with the sound on—so I still have to audibly pass from 52 to 10 at 5 a.m. while everyone else is asleep.

Being such a programmable television, I'm shocked that something as basic as startup behavior isn't something I can configure—and that I'm stuck at volume 52 until the Samsung QLED Startup Routine is done. Did I miss something in the manual about this? Can I startup with the sound automatically at 0 between the hours of midnight and 9 a.m.?

@el_diablote: I have looked into this for you, and it is sadly not possible to auto mute the TV on startup. As a possible workaround, please head to Settings > General > Smart Features > Autorun Last App, and toggle this option on. If you are watching movies via a streaming app prior to turning the TV off at night e.g. Netflix, then this should hopefully provide a window in which you can lower the volume to your preferred level. While not ideal, you could also lower the volume before you turn the TV off.

Thanks for the tip, Andrew! I also had Autorun Samsung TV Plus ticked, which seems to have been a major source of the delayed startup response!
