Single Grey Vertical Stripe

Hello, my tv just suddenly got a single grey vertical stripe the entire height of the screen. Can it be fixed? Is it worth fixing? TIA

@Notadj25: Please can you confirm the model number of your TV? This can be found on the sticker on the back of the device, or in Settings > Support > About This TV. 

Also, please can you confirm if the issue is visible on all channels and sources?

yes, it is there on all channels, inputs, etc.

@Notadj25: Please try powering off the TV > Unplug it at the wall for 30 seconds > Plug it back in and power back on using the remote. If the issue persists, please head to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Start Picture Test. Is the line visible in the sample image? 

If so, please head to samsung.com > Scroll to the bottom of the screen > Contact us, and reach out to the Support Team in your region to arrange for an engineer to inspect the device. Please accept by apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Hi, yes I’d already tried the unplugging and picture testing, and the stripe was still there. I’ll reach out to support as you have suggested, thank you 😊

Most likely, there is no contact in the loop or the T-Con board is defective.
