I have a Frame tv from 2020, and I have the deep link test, however I cannot get the "delete" to become active 🙁 what I did was to give a one-star rating to all apps I would like to remove 😛 not much, but if everyone did maybe they'd take a hint

Thanks for the tip.  However on my 55-MU6300 that I've been dealing with the volume debacle as others have, this morning things changed.

Before now, TV remote has worked, but now the only thing that works on the remote is PWR, nothing else.  It seems to have lost connection to the TV so that I have no remote control.  Dish remote seems OK, but this TV is giving me fits.  It currently is on, but no way to get into settings.  It was fine until I attempted to get into the apps settings.  Anything I'm missing here?

Help would be greatly appreciated.

This is unacceptable. Except from the obvious problem of storage (my TV came with more than 8 apps preinstalled that I can not remove) I am legally bound not to use some of them. By not giving me the choice of uninstalling them you basically make the TV useless for me... Samsung used to be a quality company that turned to garbage.

I agree completely.  I spent over 30 minutes on the phone with a rep for them to just delete the apps I actually use instead of the pre-loaded ones I have no use for.  I am outraged and will never buy from them again.

I spent over 2 hours with 2 reps this week. And all that was accomplished was a test of my patience as I was constantly put on hold. They know of the issue but won’t do anything to fix it. This tv won’t even hold my hdmi settings any longer. The smart hub takes 2 min to log in. Mu6290 will be the last Samsung I ever own at this point. After multiple resets, 0% free with nothing on it. Firmware says 1290. But the firmware I download from the websites says 1290.3 but the tv says I’m up to date when I plug in usb. Shoddy design and shady tactics.

Vincent,  I'm so sorry you are dealing with this too! It is so frustrating and their lack of accountability is beyond irritating. I tried to explain to my rep "imagine buying a phone and then two years later it auto installs an update that puts apps you don't use on it and never had before.  There is no way to get rid of these new apps" - hell Peacock TV or whatever the ***** didn't even exist when I bought my tv- "as a result of these new apps you can no longer take pictures with your phone or even message your friends because the apps take up too much space."  The rep still didn't empathize with my situation.  He said, and I quote, "no worries". I had so much patience with him telling him I'm not mad at you, just this situation, and then he said that. F***. I too will NEVER support Samsung again. My TV will offload the apps to a USB, but it won't let me access them.  I've had to purchase another FireStick that has 4kUltraHD capabilities on sale I think it was $40.  Samsung should reimburse me for this.

Yeah it’s a total waste. I’m more upset that they know about the issue and yet their reps act completely clueless. My hub is useless. I don’t have cable. I stream everything. So it’s just a fire tv monitor now. It’s sad because the picture is still beautiful.

My exact story and yes, it is possible.  With the help of a Samsung tech, I used a spare desktop keyboard plugged into the usb port which will substitute for a remote.  Can't tell you how I did it, but we got it done.  Then I was able to delete most of the bloat that had been put on there.  This isn't original bloat, but was added over the years to the point that no memory was left.  Eventually I'll probably need to do it again.

Did you manage to fix it? I need to delete applications that I don't need and I don't get the option either, so I can't use the "Hack" they put here

Samsung tech through the call line? This people have been absolutely useless over the hours of time they have wasted. If not through the call line, please let me know the number you used.
