If I connect an HDMI -> Analog RCA splitter to my HDMI ARC output on my Samsung TV - will the volume adjustments on the TV also be pushed to the devices on the splitter?
The full long story of my ongoing issue is here, but to keep things more simple on this post:
I just want to be able to connect my TV headphone transmitter (that has analog RCA audio input) to my TV, but not have that volume manipulated the TV's volume. If the TV is muted or sound down, I don't want that to impact my headphones.
My old 46" SONY did this beautifully because the analog output (RCA and/or headphone jack) audio levels were fixed, and didn't change based on TV volume.
