Game motion plus does not interpolate 60Hz signal to 120Hz in game mode using De-judder setting. Nothing happens when playing 30fps game and console outputting 60Hz. Game motion plus works great with 2020 Q90T and all T series TV but not with 2021 Neo QLEDs. Just bring the old algorithm for game motion plus back!
This is broken feature. Just fixt it. Easy job.

No luck I'm afraid. As detailed i followed up lots and they eventually sent someone out, but the Samsung Technician would not even listen to the technician they sent to my house who was telling him the game mode judder reduction is not working. After he left, I never heard from Samsung again, no follow up. I wrote to them to voice my disappointment and pointed them to more comments from people around the world complaining about this issue... they didn't bother to even reply.
I don't think I can take it any further. The Samsung technicians just refuse to raise it to the software dev team, and I don't know why.
One other issue with game mode that has been noticed is the game bar always shows VRR as off, even when it is on. It's only cosmetic though, and is working.
I really like the TV, so I am just enjoying it for what it is now. The game motion plus judder reduction is a great feature, and I truly hope they fix it, but I am no longer holding my breath. I expect they only care about 2022 models now.
Anyone who reads this but has not raised, give it a try. If enough people do then they might act on it, but don't hold your breath.
I might send one last email, but I am out of steam at this stage.

So talk about timing. Half hour after I wrote my last post, my TV just got an update to firmware 2001. And guess what.... game motion plus judder reduction looks to be working now
Not sure if its quite as fluid as some people have made it out to be previously, but I have tested on some old PS3 games and def it is smoothing the frame rate out while not introducing much in the way of artifacting.
So yeah, if your TV has not got 2001 yet, maybe try manual update or hopefully you get it soon.
For me, I am happy. Its doing something, and from what I can see doing it well. Be interesting to see what you all think?
Either way, super happy with my TV now.... provided they did not break anything else when fixing this lol!

And they fix the game bar incorrectly displaying VRR as off when using VRR input. Correctly shows VRR is on.

Seems my last post didn't go through....
I am in australia and have a QN85A, so different models and regions may take longer, but we are often aligned with EU for a lot of stuff so hopefully soon for everyone else.
The smoothing is not the same as the standard judder reduction, its not as fluid, it sits somewhere in between, but for me its a good balance of not adding lag and also not really much in the way of graphical glitches. Makes games feel smoother, not full 60fps, but its a nice feature that makes 30fps games nicer to play.

Marko can you confirm the version you have? Is it 2001 or 2000.1?
