Model UE55RU7470UXXU OR UE55RU7400UXXU - both these models have freesat.
Please ignore any TV Plus / Aerial or Freeview related talk, i am asking about satellite. I do not yet have the TV.
As with most freesat boxes, is there a way of using a non-freesat mode on this TV? i.e. manual scan ? May also be known as 'satellite mode'
It is discussed here: https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/TV/QE49Q7F-Manual-tuning-adding-channels/td-p/283635
But that is a different model.
Thanks in advance guys!

Hi @unplayable I imagine the situation will be much the same with UE55RU7470UXXU OR UE55RU7400UXXU, i.e there will be a non freestat option in the Auto Tune Menu, however perhaps someone will be able to confirm. These models certainly are Freestat enabled and have discovered that a customer on an older Ks model was able to access other satellite channels , found out via an in store demonstration that in the tuning menu set-up, they were presented with the option of either 'Freeview', 'Cable', 'Freesat', or, 'Satellite' in this case.
Personally I have never had a need for Freestat, having Sky. A general guide here for all those who may be interested https://www.a516digital.com/2013/03/q-what-is-non-freesat-mode.html
