Hello!
Brand new frame tv - every so often it makes electrical ticking sound, very fast ticking for maybe 20 seconds then it stops for a while (can be seconds, or minutes between them). It’s coming from the back of the tv and nothing to do with the speakers.
Its super annoying and you can hear it over normal tv volume.
It only seems to do it when the tv is on (and not in art mode). I’ve read about other people with a ticking issue, but this seems different to those. I’ve attached a video in which you can hear it.
Any ideas what it is, before I get it looked at / replaced?
Thanks!

@SimonW9: I am unable to hear a ticking noise in the attached video, I'm afraid. Do you hear the noise at a specific time e.g. after turning on the TV? Furthermore, are you accessing a particular app or feature when the issue occurs, or is it random?

Hi Andrew - thanks for the swift reply!
I seem to be unable to play the video so can't tell how well it uploaded, but the sound is definitely there in the original, be it a little hard to hear so volume needs to be up high!
It occurs randomly and often, and on multiple (all the ones I've used) apps / tv etc.

Hi @SimonW9. Have you removed all the cellophane from the TV? This can somtimes cause a ticking sound if not fully removed.

Hi Carl,
Yep all removed. It definitely sounds like an electrical ticking rather than heat expansion / contraction etc.
Ive attached another video - hopefully you can hear it. I’m guessing it’s a fault and will have to be replaced.

I can hear some sort of ticking in the video. When and where did you purchased your TV?

Having the same issue with exactly same noise with a new (less than week old) 55in 2023 Frame. Did you find a solution?

Hi,
Yep it was the infrared sensor. Repair people nor Samsung had heard about it before.
Simply unplugging the infrared sensor and plugging it back in did seem to fix it, but they replaced the part just in case.
