brand new tv, purchased today at Costco. 
model: QN65QN85CAF

Just turned it on for the first time and didn’t even remove the protector screen yet as the instructions asks you to turn it on without removing it. 

it has a dark spot on the lower right hand side. 

is this permanent? Should I just bring it back?

No expert here on this but I would take it back to the store. Either get them to turn it on in the shop, in front of you or ask for a full refund. As it looks a defective display to me.

We’re getting the TV replaced. Hopefully it doesn’t occur on the replacement. Thanks for your help.
