i bought a samsung tv advertised with a 5 year warranty before i paid for the tv i asked currys manager how i obtain the 5 year warranty he told me the warranty comes from samsung once you buy the tv you contact samsung and they provide the 5 year warranty i bought the tv on saturday 9th nov 2024 i contacted samsung for the 5 year warranty samsung told me they do not provide a 5 year warranty for tv,s bought from currys .Yet currys are advertising a 5 year warranty and telling customers samsung supply the warranty .SAMSUNG MUST KNOW THIS IS GOING ON WITH CURRYS IT IS ADVERSLEY AFFECTING SAMSUNGS CREDABILITY .I HAVE LOST CONFIDENCE IN BOTH SAMSUNG AND CURRYS .IF YOU BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT WITH A WARRANTY SAMSUNG SHOULD HONOUR THAT WARRANTY

This offer is limited to a series of third party retailers across the UK, however this does not include major high street retailers such as Currys. Please note that your TV comes with a standard 12 month warranty which activates automatically on the date of purchase, and covers software and hardware defects. If you are unhappy about the information that you received regarding the extended warranty, then please contact Currys directly.

I have the same issue, I bought the Samsung TV from Currys December 2024 , I tried to claim 5 years warranty from Samsung company but they told me need to go Currys store ,the staffs has no idea about that they advertised a TV with 5 years warranty but obviously it's coming with 12 months, I hope nothing happened to my TV in next 5 years
