Crackling Sound - 2060 Definition

Hi,

Just purchased a new Samsung 43 Inch Q60 QE43Q60RATXXU Smart 4K HDR QLED 

Lovely tv, only issue is when I change it from 1080 to 2060 8 bit (10 bit not supported) (4K) the TV crackles really loud. When I change it back to 1080 (High Def) no problem at all.

Any ideas?

Hi @Daz19-72. Do you have any external devices connected to your TV? Can you tell me the software version you're currently running? This can be found in Support > Software Update and the latest version is 1335.0. Let me know how you get on!

Hi Carl,

Matter resolved, seems the SKY issued HDMI cable that came with the SKY Q box wasn't up to the task. Brought a high speed HDMI cable home from work which works fine, now viewing and listening to 4K without issue.

One other slight annoyance is on certain channels, the picture and lip sync is slightly off. Anything in Audio settings I should be looking at adjusting?
