Hi , does anyone own a au9000 TV and if so can they tell me in sound settings does it have pass-through audio , Samsung ( so called technical ) don't even know what audio pass-through is !!!!
Hi @Edgie 70 HDMI passthrough means basically that you have both HDMI In and Out Therefore you can route the video feed via the Soundbar to the television. So you can have quality audio and video through fewer connections. For instance video source is connected to the Soundbar first and then Soundbar connected to the TV. I do not have the AU9000 but from my determinations it supports earc, though in 2.0 specification in the 2nd port. https://www.whathifi.com/advice/hdmi-arc-and-hdmi-earc-everything-you-need-to-know
I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.
